HSBC One+ x BUCKET MAN Gold Figurine Lucky Draw and Mobile Account Opening Offer (The “Programme”) Terms and Conditions

Promotional Period

 

1. The promotional period for the “HSBC One+ x BUCKET MAN Gold Figurine Lucky Draw” (“Offer 1”) and “Mobile Account Opening Offer” (“Offer 2”) are from 13 April 2026 to 22 May 2026 (both dates inclusive) (the “Promotional Period”).

 

Who can enjoy the Offers (Eligible Customers):

 

2. Offer 1 (HSBC One+ x BUCKET MAN Gold Figurine Lucky Draw):

a. For “New to HSBC One Customers”

(ai) Aged 18 or above on 13 April 2026; and

(aii) Successfully open or upgrade to an HSBC One account (“Applicable Account”) as the sole or principal account (for joint accounts only) holder during the Promotional Period via any channels; and

(aiii) Must not be a holder of any integrated account of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (the “Bank” or “HSBC”) and its successors and assigns in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (“Hong Kong”).

b. For “Existing HSBC One Customers with HSBC One+ Membership”

(bi) Aged 18 or above; and

(bii) Maintain a valid HSBC One account as the sole account holder or the principal account holder (if a joint account) at the date of reward fulfilment; and

(biii) Hold an HSBC One+ membership during the Promotional Period and maintain until the date of reward fulfilment.

3. Offer 2 (Mobile Account Opening Offer):

a. For “New to HSBC One Customers”

(ai) Aged 18 – 75; and

(aii) Must be a holder of new version of HKID card issued in Nov 2018 or later (permanent or non-permanent resident); and

(aiii) Must not be a holder of any integrated account or investment accounts or credit cards (including supplementary credit cards).

b. For “Existing HSBC Customers”

(bi) Aged 18 – 75; and

(bii) Must be a holder of a standalone HSBC current, savings, Time Deposit or investment account (not under an integrated account); and

(biii) Must not be a holder of an Integrated Account.

c. For customers who fulfil clause 3 (a) or (b), they have to successfully open or upgrade to the Applicable Account through HSBC HK App as the sole or principal account (for joint accounts only) holder during the Promotional Period.

4. To enjoy Offer 1 and/or Offer 2, customers need to meet the requirements in clause 4 (a) – (c):

a. Successfully submit programme registration form www.hsbc.com.hk/bmform once during the Promotional Period; and

b. Complete any of the eligible banking transactions/ activities from task (1) to (3) in Table (1) during the Promotional Period; and

What are the offers

5. Offer 1 (HSBC One+ x BUCKET MAN Gold Figurine Lucky Draw): 

a. Eligible Customers who have met the requirements of clause 2 and 4 will receive ONE lucky draw chance.

b. For each task completed under clause 4 Table (1), customers will be entitled to one lucky draw chance only, even if the same task is completed multiple times. Each customer may receive a maximum of three lucky draw chances upon completion of all 3 tasks.

c. Each Eligible Customer can enjoy Offer 1 once.

d. Lucky draw winners (each a “Winner”) will be randomly drawn by computer after the Promotional Period. The lucky draw prize (the “Prize”) is listed below:

6. Offer 2 (Mobile Account Opening Offer): 

a. Eligible Customers who have met the requirements of clause 3 and 4 can get a chance to receive a HKD500 cash reward (“Cash Reward”). Quota limited to 800.

b. The cash reward will be given on a first-come-first-serve basis based on the timestamp of successful registration and is subject to eligibility. The quota will be allocated based on the order of customer’s registration time as recorded in the Bank’s system.

c. The eligibility and success of any registration will be determined based on the Bank’s record. In case of any discrepancy between the Bank’s record and the Eligible Customer’s record, the Bank’s record will prevail and be considered final and conclusive.

d. In the event of multiple registrations by the same Eligible Customer within the Promotional Period, only the first registration will be considered.

e. Each Eligible Customer can enjoy Offer 2 once.

 

7. Each Eligible Customer can enjoy both Offer 1 and Offer 2 at the same time provided that the requirements for both offers have been satisfied.

 

8. The Offers are not applicable to:

a. New HSBC One Customers who held an HSBC Premier Elite/ HSBC Premier and/ or HSBC One account (whether as sole accountholder or joint accountholder) in the past 9 months prior to the new Applicable Account opening month as illustrated in Table II below, both dates inclusive; or

9. Personal Data: Customers who are new to HSBC One and open an Applicable Account are required to understand and agree that the Bank may use and disclose all personal data about them that the Bank currently or subsequently holds for the purposes set out in the data privacy notice and that they will be subject to the Integrated Account Terms and Conditions upon becoming a holder of an Applicable Account. Existing HSBC One customers who are converting their existing accounts to an Applicable Account are required to understand and agree that the Bank may use and disclose all personal data about them that the Bank currently or subsequently holds for the purposes set out in the data privacy notice and that they will continue to be subject to the Integrated Account Terms and Conditions upon converting to an Applicable Account. 10. Bank’s Record: The dates and amount appearing in the Bank’s record will be conclusive as to the date on which an Applicable Account was opened, terminated or upgraded, and the date of HSBC One+ Membership enrolment or opt-out and the amount of balances/ number of transactions carried out.

 

What these terms mean

 

11. Definitions (For this Programme): 

(a) “HSBC One+ Membership”: Eligibility for HSBC One+ membership is subject to the HSBC One+ Membership Programme Terms and Conditions, as amended or supplemented from time to time. The Terms and Conditions can be found on the HSBC HK website under HSBC One. 

(b) “Eligible Transaction” means the purchase/subscription of any of the following investment product types (“Eligible Investment Product Types”) made within the Promotional Period. New investment product type refers to customers do not have any holdings or transactions of that specific product type from 1 April 2025 to 30 March 2026:

i. HSBC paper gold scheme products

• Subscription of any HSBC paper gold schemes

ii. Bonds and Certificates of Deposits

• Subscription of any Bond (excluding Retail Bonds*); Subscription of any Certificates of Deposit (CDs)

* Retail bond refers to bonds offered to the public. Examples include iBond series issued by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China or Retail Green Bonds, etc.

iii. Capital Protected Investments, Deposit Plus and Currency Linked Structured Note

• Subscription of any Capital Protected Investment Deposit; Subscription of any Deposit Plus; Subscription of any Currency Linked Structured Note

iv. Equity Linked Investments, Private Placement Notes, Rate-Linked Notes, Structured Notes

• Subscription of any Private Placement Note; Subscription of any Equity Linked Investment, any Rate Linked Notes or any Structured Notes

v. Unit Trusts

• Unit Trusts (UT) Subscription, Unit Trust Monthly Investment Plan (UTMIP) Subscription. 

(c) “Eligible Currency Exchange Transactions”: Currency exchange acceptable by HSBC includes Australian Dollar (AUD), Canadian Dollar (CAD), Swiss Franc (CHF), Euro (EUR), Pound Sterling (GBP), HK Dollar (HKD), Japanese Yen (JPY), New Zealand Dollar (NZD), Renminbi (RMB), Singapore Dollar (SGD), Thai Baht (THB), US Dollar (USD). 

i. Eligible channels: The exchange transaction must have been successfully executed by using the Eligible Customer's integrated account, saving account or current account during Offer Period via: 

• Online Banking / Mobile Banking: Eligible Customers can enjoy the offer by: (1) performing currency exchange transactions within their same name account using “Exchange Now” (for conversion to Designated Currency) via HSBC Mobile Banking or “Real time currency exchange” via HSBC Online Banking; or (2) performing FX Order Watch transactions within their same name account using “Set your target rate” under FX Order Watch (for conversion to Designated Currency) via HSBC Mobile Banking or “FX order watch and rate alerts” via HSBC Online Banking. 

ii. The FX Order Watch transaction has to be processed (order status shown as “Processed”), for it to be considered as an Eligible Currency Exchange Transaction. The date of setting up the FX Order Watch transaction, and the processed date of the transaction should be within the Offer Period. If the transaction is active, in process, cancelled, expired by expiry date, or rejected (order status shown as “Active”, “In Process”, “Cancelled”, “Expired” or “Rejected”), it is not considered as an Eligible Currency Exchange Transaction.

12. Gold Figurine Redemption (under Offer 1)

a. The Winner will be notified by correspondence (the “Winner Announcement Channels”) which will be sent on or before 30 September 2026 to the Winner via email according to Bank’s record as at the date of reward fulfilment. The email will contain redemption details and redemption code.

b. The Winner is entitled to ONE (1) ”HSBC One+ x BUCKET MAN Gold Figurine” as the relevant reward under this promotion subject to the Promotional Terms and Conditions. 

c. The winner announcement email is not replaceable in the event of any loss by the Winners. 

d. The personal data of the Winner will be collected only for the use of Prize redemption. The personal data may be used by the Bank: (i) to contact the Winner; (ii) to verify the identity of the Winner; and (iii) to administer and manage the Lucky Draw. The personal data collected will not be used to update the Bank’s records. The data collected will be deleted within 6 months of the fulfilment of the Prize.

e. Redeemed prize is non-exchangeable, non-refundable and non-returnable in the event of any loss or damage. 

f. Each winner can use the redemption code from the email to redeem the Prize at the designated redemption house.

g. Refunds are not applicable in any unused redemption code. The redemption code is not valid for exchange of other services. Any expired or invalid redemption code will not be re-issued.

h. Winners must not reproduce, copy, change or publish the redemption code in any form or by any means; or misuse the redemption code. Any of the foregoing acts is a violation of the terms and conditions of the redemption code, which may result in the rejection or cancellation of the relevant redemption code. All consequences, losses and/or damages shall be borne by the winner. The Bank will not be responsible or bear any legal responsibility.

i. The Prize (or any alternative gift) cannot be transferred to others and converted to cash.

13. Cash Reward (under Offer 2): Unless otherwise specified below, Eligible Customers will receive a cash reward as the relevant reward(s) under this promotion subject to these Promotional Terms and Conditions. The Cash Reward will be credited to the Eligible Customer’s Applicable Account (not applicable to HKD Passbook Savings Account) on or before 30 September 2026 if the terms of the Mobile Account Opening Offer are met. If the Eligible Customer terminates the Applicable Account or upgrades such Applicable Account before receiving the Cash Reward, the Cash Reward will be forfeited. 

14. For any enquiries about Offer 1 and 2, customers should contact the Bank on or before 31 March 2027. Late enquiries will not be accepted.

15. An Eligible Customer’s personal information in the Bank’s record must be updated and valid during the Promotional Period and as at the date of reward fulfilment in order for the Eligible Customer to be entitled to the offers.

16. The Bank reserves the right to replace the Offers with any alternative gift without prior notice.

17. The Bank has the sole and absolute discretion in determining a person’s eligibility to participate in the Programme and/or receive the Offers. If the Bank discovers at any time, whether after or during the Promotional Period, that any person has failed to comply with these terms and conditions, the Bank is entitled to disqualify the person from participating in the Programme and receiving the Offers. 

18. It is the Eligible Customer’s responsibility to comply (at their own expense) with any laws requiring payment of any tax, duty, levy or similar impost relating to the award of the Offers, and the Bank shall have no responsibility in respect thereof.

19. Other Promotions: In the event that an Eligible Customer is also entitled to other prevailing promotional offers for or relating to the same product/service, the Bank reserves the right to provide only the offer of the highest value to the customer.

20. The Offers are subject to the prevailing legal and regulatory requirements.

21. No person other than the customer who enjoys the Programme Offers in the promotion and the Bank and its successors and assigns will have any right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance to enforce or enjoy the benefit of any of the provisions of these Promotional Terms and Conditions.

22. In the event of any dispute arising from the Programme, the decision of the Bank shall be final and conclusive. 

23. The Bank reserves the right to change these terms and conditions and terminate the Programme at any time without prior notice and the Bank accepts no liability for any such change, withdrawal and termination. The latest details of the Programme and the revised terms and conditions will be made available on our website as soon as practicable.

24. If the Bank reasonably believes that any customer has been using or abetting others to use inappropriate methods or committing fraud to interrupt the operation of or interfere with any part of the Programme, causing technical problems, disorders, jeopardising, damaging or affecting the running of the Programme, its accuracy, fairness or smooth operation or the Bank detects any invalid or incomplete data entry at the back-end or front-end, the Bank reserves all rights to disqualify him/her from participating in the Programme and claim for any damage and loss arising from or in connection with any of the above suffered by the Bank from him/her.

25. The Bank reserves the right to alter the Prize quota at sole discretion.

26. The Programme is held within Hong Kong. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong and each Eligible Customer submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong. 

27. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the Chinese and English versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall apply and prevail.

28. Insurance Terms and Conditions 

I. The Promotion is not applicable to HSBC Wealth Select Protection Linked Plan, HSBC Income Goal Deferred Annuity Plan and HSBC EarlyIncome Deferred Annuity Plan (“Excluded Plan”).

II. If a customer has cancelled any applications which were submitted or effected from 13 Apr 2025 to 12 April 2026, and subsequently applies for the same Eligible Plan during Promotional Period, the new life insurance application will not be eligible for this Programme. The Eligible Plan must be issued on or before 22 June 2026 so that the Eligible Customer is entitled to join the Programme.

III. Any applications towards the life insurance plans with unposted/ cancelled/ refunded premium or less than Premium Amount of HKD20,000 or its equivalent before 30 September 2026 will not qualify as eligible applications for the purpose of this Promotion. Eligible Customer cannot enjoy the offer if the Eligible Plan is cancelled or terminated prior to the deposit placement or is cancelled by exercising the cooling-off right.

IV. The Premium Amount applicable to this Promotion is calculated according to the following approach: 

▪ Single premium: single premium divided by 3 

▪ Annual premium: annual premium amount of the first policy year

▪ Monthly premium: monthly premium amount of the first policy year multiplied by 12 

▪ Aggregate premium: first year premium amount required by the policy

V. For Eligible Plan with payment currency denominated in USD, the premiums in USD will be converted to HKD based on currency exchange rate of 1 USD to 7.8 HKD for calculation of Premium Amount, subject to all the terms herein.

VI. If the Eligible Customer is entitled to more than one promotional offer in relation to the applications of Eligible Plans during the Promotional Period (except premium discount offer), only one of promotional offers (as determined in the sole discretion of the Bank) will be provided. The Bank reserves the right to make the final determination on the promotional offer amount.

VII. This Promotion is not applicable to HSBC Private Bank Clients applying for a life insurance plan via their Private Bank Relationship Manager.
